1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly: your email address and password when you register, and text you submit for humanization or detection. We also collect basic usage data (pages visited, features used) to improve the product.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and improve the AI Humanizer service
  • Process payments and manage your subscription
  • Send transactional emails (account verification, password reset)
  • Respond to support requests

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your submitted text to train AI models.

3. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), we process your personal data under the following legal bases:

  • Contract (Article 6(1)(b)): Processing your account data and submitted text is necessary to provide the service you signed up for.
  • Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)): We collect basic usage analytics to improve product quality and prevent abuse.
  • Legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)): We retain billing records as required by applicable tax and accounting laws.

4. Data Retention

Humanization and detection history is retained for 90 days and then automatically deleted. You can delete your history at any time from your dashboard settings. If you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed immediately.

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and maintain session state. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser, but this will prevent you from staying logged in.

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • OpenAI— text submitted for humanization or detection is sent to OpenAI's API for processing using our private fine-tuned models. OpenAI does not use API data submitted by us to train their models. See OpenAI's privacy policy. OpenAI may process data in the United States and other regions.
  • Stripe — payment processing (we never store your card details)
  • MongoDB Atlas — database hosting (data stored in US East region)
  • Resend — transactional email delivery
  • Upstash — Redis-based session and rate-limiting infrastructure

Each of these providers acts as a data processor under our instructions and is bound by a Data Processing Agreement. We can provide copies on request to [email protected].

6a. AI Outputs & Limitations

AI Humanizer uses machine learning models to transform text. Outputs are generated by AI, are probabilistic, and may contain inaccuracies, factual errors, or unintended meaning. We do not guarantee that humanized text will pass any specific AI detection tool — detectors update frequently and results vary by model, length, and topic. You are responsible for reviewing every output before use, and for any decisions or actions taken based on it.
